Thank you for considering fostering a dog! Although we don’t regularly bring dogs from overseas to foster homes without good reason (we think it’s better to find them forever homes) sometimes circumstances change and we need help at short notice. That’s where fosters step in and save the day! Fostering can teach children many important lessons: patience, perseverance, responsibility, empathy, confidence and sharing. Sometimes it can be hard to let the dog go at the end of the process but your family will become an integral part of helping a dog to find their way to their new beginning.
Before you apply to join our fostering network please consider that sometimes we can’t confirm how long a foster home will be needed for a specific dog. It’s important for the wellbeing of the dogs we help that we provide them with as much consistency as possible, so please only apply to foster if you’re able to dedicate an adequate amount of time to fostering.
