About Cisco

These three sweethearts found themselves dumped in the pound after being found as strays on the streets of Cyprus. Unfortunately, the dogs that end up in the council pounds have a really tough time and these three need out of there before they begin to believe that this is a normal life.

Cisco, Jordan and Bodhi are thought to be Miniature Pinscher mix puppies, and are around five months old. It won’t be long before they’re ready to fly to the UK and we would love to find them wonderful homes so they don’t have to grow up behind bars.

Cisco is the most confident of the trio. He adores people and is more than happy to make new friends. He is keen to say hello to anyone and everyone, and is affectionate, enthusiastic and bouncy. He’s already discovered the joy of toys and will grab a chew to play with whenever he’s out in the yard having a run around. Cisco is confident around people and will push in for a cuddle whilst his siblings are being fussed - he’s keen to make sure he’s not missing out! He’s an energetic little thing and clever too, so would benefit from some training and an active lifestyle.

Bodhi is a little less confident than bold Cisco, but more confident than shy Jordan. He’s happy being in the presence of people and has quite a balanced nature. He is also the calmest of the three and has a more relaxed energy about him. Bodhi is affectionate and seeks out cuddles, and he also has the most beautiful head tilt - if that doesn’t melt your heart then nothing will. He’s playful with his siblings and curious about meeting new people, so with time we have no concerns about him adapting successfully to a companion lifestyle.

Jordan is the most reserved of the puppies. He gains a lot of his confidence from his siblings and benefits from observing their movements and interactions before replicating them himself. He takes time to warm to new people and once he know he’s in good company he’s keen to play and engage. He loves to have fun and reacts in the most adorable way to silly sounds, bouncing around and play bowing. He really wants to be friends but he just needs a more gentle, patient approach. He would prefer a home with another dog to learn from for sure, but it doesn’t need to be one of his siblings.

Cisco’s ideal home would be based outside of the city in a more semi-rural setting. He could be placed in a slightly busier area than Bindi and Jordan, but he’s still not destined to be an urban dweller. All the pups would be best suited to homes with gardens and away from busy roads. He has not been tested with cats, but we feel that Cisco could live with children aged 6+, as long as they can give him space and are used to dogs. He can be bouncy and this might be off-putting for younger kids.

As with all puppies, we encourage any adopters to consider puppy training. They are hard work and require a lot of time, effort and energy. Building up a strong bond and implementing boundaries and mutual understanding and respect from a young age is key to raising a balanced adult dog. We would highly recommend this with Cisco as we would with any other pup.

Cisco is currently based in Cyprus and has a clean bill of health. He is ready to travel once he finds a forever home.

Please note, any mention of breed is nothing more than an educated guess based on what we know about the dog: their appearance, behaviour, and common breeds in their country of origin. We can never guarantee breed specifics, nor can we confirm the exact age of our dogs, unless they were born in our care. Age estimations are made by our vets based on the development of the dog, their general health and energy, and assessing their teeth.
