About Ada

Ada is a young, energetic little dog with a huge personality despite her bring pocket sized! She’s around a year old and weighs less than 10kg – the perfect size for an active companion who can keep up with you but is still easy to scoop up for a cuddle! She’s not expected to grow any bigger and is ready now to find her forever home.

Ada was rescued when a kind man found her and another injured dog by the side of a road. Thankfully, Ada had escaped harm and she was taken to one of our shelter partner’s who have welcomed her with open arms. Ada knows she’s finally wanted, and she’s been nothing but bright eyed, excited and wiggly ever since she arrived! She’s such a positive little dog and is full of enthusiasm for everything, whether it’s running alongside children, chasing after toys, or hopping onto a volunteer’s lap for some affection. She never seems to run out of batteries, and her joy for everything is infectious!

Ada would be a fantastic match for a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and has the time to include a lively young dog in their daily life. She would particularly thrive in a home with children, especially those keen to participate in the training and exercising of their new dog. Channeling her energy through games, walks and social interaction would be a great experience not only for Ada, but for children too.

Ada is extremely sociable, friendly with other dogs and always on the lookout for a new playmate. If another dog doesn’t want to engage Ada is respectful and will gently back off. She reads canine body language well and understands when another dog needs some distance.

We feel that Ada could cope in a busier area, including urban or suburban settings, provided she gets enough daily exercise and stimulation. She loves meeting new people and would enjoy being part of a lively household where there’s always something going on. She’s a happy, affectionate young dog who will bring endless energy, fun and love to the right family!

Please note all our Bosnian dogs arrive to kennels based in Ormskirk when they get to the UK. Adopters are required to arrange collection from there.
