About Pickle
Pickle and his sister, Patch, were sadly abandoned outside a lady’s home in Cyprus. Initially the shyer of the two, Pickle has made fantastic progress in hardly any time at all. He’s now growing into a playful, affectionate and sociable little dog and is much braver than he was when he first arrived.
Pickle has discovered the joy of toys and is currently in his element. He loves chasing tennis balls, tugging on rope toys and running around with Patch. The pair of them are always stealing things off each other and it’s so fun to watch them play together. Once unsure and cautious, Pickle is now much bolder and happily seeks out fuss, cuddles and chin scratches from the people he trusts. He’s developing a lovely bond with his foster carer and continues to build his confidence every day.
Pickle is looking for a home committed to offering him plenty of time, guidance and positive social experiences. He would suit a family or adopter who is around for much of the day and who understands the needs of young puppies - patience, consistency and lots of encouragement! With his soft features and Shepherd-like markings, it’s hard to predict his final adult size, but he is unlikely to grow into a very large dog.
Pickle could live alongside other friendly dogs and children, and because he is still so young, he could be introduced to cats in a careful, managed way. He’s a bright, eager puppy who, with the right foundation, will grow into a loyal and happy companion. He’s ready for adventures and a life full of love.
