About Patch
Patch and her brother, Pickle, were sadly abandoned outside a lady’s home in Cyprus. Despite such a difficult start, Patch has shown real resilience and spirit and is such a lovable little thing! Now safe in foster care, she’s blossoming into a lively, affectionate and confident little dog with plenty of character.
Patch is curious, playful and full of energy. She loves her toys, particularly tennis balls and rope chews, and can often be found stealing a toy from Pickle and running off so he’ll follow after her and start to play. She’s a bright little pup who is quick to bond with people, and once she’s exhausted herself from pickpocketing toys and chasing her brother, she settles down in her bed next to him for a nap. They’re so cute together.
Patch is looking for a home that can offer her the time, patience and structure that every young puppy needs. She would suit a home where someone is around during the day and where there’s plenty of opportunity for socialisation, basic training and positive experiences as she grows into an adult dog. While it’s difficult to predict her exact adult size, Patch has a terrier-like appearance and is not expected to grow into a very large dog.
Patch could live happily with other dogs and with children who are used to the liveliness of young puppies. Given her age, she could also adapt to living with cats if introductions are gradual and carefully managed. With her adventurous personality and affectionate nature, Patch has all the potential to grow into a fun loving, loyal and sociable companion. She’s such a cheeky, curious and loving little dog and we can’t wait to see her grow.
