Volunteering for Underdog gives you the opportunity to make a real impact. There are lots of meaningful ways that you can get involved, and even small acts of kindness help to make a difference. Your involvement means you become an advocate for those in need, and you can help educate others about the work we do. Whether you’d like to organise a local fundraising event, travel overseas to a partner shelter with us, or foster a dog in need, there are so many volunteering opportunities available and we’re always open to suggestions too!

Volunteer overseas

Therapy dogs

We need your help to grow our therapy dog network. If you think your dog has the right temperament to become a friendly face within a school, you could help bring kindness, comfort, and confidence to children. Animal-assisted therapy doesn’t just brighten a classroom; it lays the foundations for a kinder future.

 

Foster

Fostering is one of the most life-changing ways you can help. Fostering gives dogs the chance to experience love, home comforts, and stability while they wait for their forever family. You don’t just change the life of the dog in your home, you’ll also be freeing up space in the shelter for another dog in need.

 

Fundraise

From bake sales and marathons, to creative socials and parachute jumps, we welcome each and every fundraising idea! Every pound you raise helps create a better world for dogs and children. We’ll support you with event suggestions, resources, and encouragement. Your next event could help change lives!
