About Sami
Sami and Spike were rescued as newborns when they were discovered in an abandoned house. The puppies had been left without their mother, and it was only when a passerby heard them crying that they were noticed. Unfortunately some of their siblings weren’t so lucky and sadly didn’t make it, but Sami and Spike were fighters. Now, around a year old, the boys are so ready to find their forever homes.
Sami has grown into a healthy, affectionate, and well-socialised young dog. He has a calm, friendly nature and a balanced temperament. He’s very affectionate with people and enjoys cuddling up close, always ready for a fuss or to shower you with kisses whether you like it or not! While he does enjoy relaxing and lounging around in the sunshine, he’s also playful, active, and would suit a family who enjoy time spent outside and are out often for walks.
Sami is good on the lead and has generally good manners. He’s intelligent and receptive to training, and he’s already showing that he’s very keen to please and willing to learn. He would suit adopters who enjoy an active lifestyle and are looking for a companion to join them. He’s likely to thrive best in a countryside or semi-rural home with access to green spaces and a garden.
Sami is currently living in a shared shelter environment with around fifteen other dogs and gets along well with all of them. He enjoys their company and would benefit from a home with a friendly resident dog, although not compulsory. He could also be very happy as the only dog in the home, provided he receives lots of human attention and opportunities to socialise with other dogs when out and about as he does love his canine friends!
Sami can live with children aged 7+ who are used to being around dogs. He’s gentle and very friendly, but has limited exposure to very young children and being an active boy we think he’d be better suited to a home with slightly older kids.
Sami is affectionate, easy-going and has a lot of love to give. He’s now ready for the next chapter and would make a brilliant companion in a calm, caring and outdoorsy home.
