About Stella

Stella is a bright, affectionate young dog who was rescued from a municipal pound in Cyprus. She is the last of three siblings who came into the shelter at different times, but her brothers have since been adopted and have settled beautifully into their new forever homes. We would love for Stella to have the same opportunity, and we’re confident that she will make a fantastic companion.

Stella has a sociable, loving nature and forms bonds with people very quickly. She’s not fearful of new people and happily seeks out affection. She enjoys human company and would love a home where she is treated as part of the family and included in everyday life. She loves to be a part of the action and is happiest when she’s involved.

Still a young dog and full of energy, Stella has an active side and would thrive in a home where there’s time and energy for regular walks, play and enrichment. She gets along very well with other dogs and could happily live with a canine companion. Based on her lovely temperament we also feel that she would be a great addition to a home with children. Stella is quick to learn new things and very eager to please, and with some introductory training we think she would start to pick up new commands and adapt to a new routine with ease.

Stella walks nicely on the lead and enjoys her time spent outside the kennel, understandably! She loves having the opportunity to race around the yard with her shelter friends and is very good at reading the body language of the other dogs. She also loves a cuddle from anyone and everyone, and is comfortable both in the presence of women and men, something which a lot of rescues can initially struggle with.

Stella is a medium sized dog, around the size of a Labrador but less chunky. She is looking for a home with access to a secure garden, preferably outside the city. She would suit a fun family unit who enjoy being outside, and who can offer her companionship, structure and the chance to enjoy a positive new chapter after a difficult start. We think she’s going to integrate really well and will make such a great adventure partner, beloved friend, and trusty companion.
