Bertie is a working Cocker Spaniel who loves to be active and keep himself busy by helping others.  Bertie is very energetic and also very smart; he learns quickly, has a real enthusiasm for life and never fails to make everyone smile.  Whatever the weather, he loves being outside in the fields or showing his skills on the agility course. Bertie really enjoyed his therapy dog training and loves using his calm, gentle nature when around vulnerable people to bring them comfort and help them to feel more at ease. Just being around Bertie gives people joy and happiness – his love of life is infectious! When at home, Bertie is very calm, sensitive and settled and he adores being around his family.  He enjoys his food very much and loves to be in bed for bed for 10pm!  He’s a sociable boy and is always interested to meet new faces, children, adults and other K9 friends and he is always ready to play!
