About Copper

Charming little Copper is an absolute heartbreaker. He and his siblings were found abandoned outside a church in Cyprus, a sadly common dumping spot for unwanted puppies. Thankfully, they were in good condition and it was clear they had been cared for before, so a local rescuer took them in and gave them a safe place to stay. It didn’t take long for their bright, loving personalities to shine through, and they’re now ready to start their new lives.

Copper is a gentle, happy boy with a really loveable charm to him, if a little twinkle of mischief in his eye! He is quietly confident, affectionate and very people focused, always keen to be part of whatever is happening. He loves cuddles, and once he has had his fill of affection, he will suddenly burst into zoomies around the yard before returning for more strokes as though nothing happened. He is playful and curious, always watching what his siblings are up to and often joining in their antics with a bouncy run up and a wagging tail.

Copper has a really sweet personality. He’s relaxed, friendly and eager to please. He’s also smart, and has also mastered sitting like a meerkat when he wants a treat, which is both hilarious and utterly adorable. Copper loves his food, which will of course help with his training going forward. He is already showing good focus and a willingness to learn, and with continued guidance he will pick up new skills quickly.

Copper gets on brilliantly with other dogs. He is sociable and gentle, fitting in easily with his siblings and enjoying both playtime and general companionship. While he would love to have a canine friend to play with in his new home, he is also confident enough to live happily as the only dog, provided he has plenty of company and interaction with his people.

Copper is a naturally affectionate pup, so he would do well in a home where he is included as part of family life. His adaptable nature means he could live in a variety of settings, including the outskirts of the city, as long as he has regular walks, stimulation and ideally a secure garden for his fave things, sniffing around, moseying about and sunbathing. There’s no doubt that this little guy is going to bring a whole lot of fun with him!
