About Lexi

Lexi was brought into the shelter in Cyprus by the dog warden as a stray. She has since travelled to the UK and is currently living in foster care in London (N8), where she’s been getting used to city life and adapting impressively!

Lexi is a Miniature Pinscher with a big personality. She may be little, but she’s full of energy, enthusiasm and affection. She is extremely social, people focused and loving, and takes very little encouragement to make herself comfortable with someone new. She enjoys close contact and is always keen for a cuddle, but also loves being out and about and taking everything in. She’s food motivated, curious, and interested in the world around her - recent discoveries include pigeons and squirrels, she’s a big fan. Despite the change from Cyprus to London, she’s settling in really well and handling new environments confidently.

Around people, Lexi is openly friendly and seeks attention from anyone willing to offer it. She enjoys being involved in day to day life and would happily spend the day curled up on a lap. As long as she’s involved, she’s happy.

Lexi is very good with other dogs. She previously shared a kennel with multiple dogs in Cyprus and interacted well with them, and continues to be sociable when meeting dogs out on walks in London. She is currently living as the only dog and is doing well, but would also be happy living with another friendly dog. If placed as an only dog, she will need plenty of human interaction during the day. Based on how much she loves adults, we also think she’d relish a home with children who can play with her and give her lots of fuss.

Lexi is looking for a home where she can be part of everyday activities and won’t be left alone for long periods. She enjoys being busy, involved and close to her people, and would suit someone who appreciates an affectionate, energetic little dog. She has shown that she can cope well in a city environment and will make a very loving and loyal companion in the right home.
