The Haute Dogs Calendar is a beautiful project which helps to raise funds to support rescue dogs worldwide. Every year, they collaborate with a new dog charity, photographing twelve of their dogs in one-of-a-kind hats, crafted by incredible milliners from across the globe. This year, Underdog International were their chosen charity and we were absolutely thrilled! Additionally, thanks to the support of Elmtree Canine Retreat, who sponsored the entire printing costs, 100% of all funds raised go directly to support dogs in desperate need.

Donating today helps us to support the rescue dogs we’ll inevitably find tomorrow. From the meat trade in China, the desolate farmland of Bosnia, or the harsh streets of Romania, there are millions of dogs worldwide that are born into instability, poverty and neglect through no fault of their own. Bundled into council pounds and hidden from the tourists of Cyprus, rescued from the overcrowded streets of India, and saved from being poisoned by locals in Mauritius, the cruelty inflicted on many of these dogs knows no bounds. Every dog we can save is one less that will suffer at the hands of humans without an ounce of compassion. Help us to help them.
Who we are
Underdog International is a global charity based in the UK whose motto is children helping dogs, dogs helping children. We aim to positively impact two million children and dogs by 2030 through therapy dogs in schools programmes, global education projects, and dog rescue and rehoming. Since 2019 we have rescued over 1200 from desperate situations Cyprus, Romania, China, Bosnia, India, Mauritius, Portugal, Greece and of course, the UK.
Since their inception in 2019, Haute Dogs have raised over £100,000 for dog rescue charities worldwide through their calendar initiative. Their goal is to spread joy and happiness while raising essential funds to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs suffering from abuse and neglect. Made up of a team of just two wonder women, Awon and Lucy, Haute Dogs is a project fuelled by passion and a genuine desire to make the world a better place for animals in need.
Elmtree Canine Retreat is a luxury dog boarding and doggy day care facility that offers a personalised, home from home care for pets while their owners are away. They also offer excellent exercise facilities, fantastic grooming services, and plenty of enrichment and 1-1 attention to ensure there’s no boredom during their stay! Their great staff take extra special care of each and every guest, and rest assured your dog will have as lovely a holiday as you!
