About Bobbie

Bobbie is a sweet, small, two year old girl who was living on the streets of Bosnia prior to her rescue. She followed a kind lady home who just so happened to be a dog lover, and she helped keep her safe until a space became available at the shelter. Despite her uncertain start in life, Bobbie has remained trusting and resilient, once again demonstrating that rescue dogs are so forgiving.

Bobbie is an affectionate and friendly dog with a calm, balanced temperament. She loves the company of humans and forms strong bonds easily. She is very friendly and doesn’t shy away from making new friends when the volunteers come at the weekend. She actively seeks them out and thrives on the opportunity to interact. She is always up for a fuss and leans in happily for attention and cuddles. At only 14kg, she is a very manageable size, making her easy to handle, easy to walk, and perfect for sofa snuggles!

Bobbie is sociable with other dogs and would happily share her home with another resident pup, particularly one of a similar nature to herself. That said, she would also cope well as the only dog, provided she has regular interaction and does not spend long hours alone. She would be comfortable living with children aged six and over who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs, and based on her nature, we feel she could live with confident, dog savvy cats with sensible introductions.

Bobbie would be best suited to a home outside of the city, ideally somewhere quieter where she can settle into a new environment at her own pace. She would benefit from direct access to a secure garden where she can potter about and enjoy the occasional UK sunshine, and she is looking for a moderately active lifestyle with leisurely walks, time to explore, and plenty of companionship from her new family. More than anything, she just wants to be included. With structure, consistency and love, we know she will blossom.

Bobbie has already shown that she seeks out connection and is very people oriented. Now she simply needs a stable, permanent home where she can finally settle for good and never have to wonder where she belongs again.
