About Ivy
Ivy is a lively, clever little pup with velvet fur, gorgeous eyes and a sparkling personality. She and her siblings were found abandoned outside a church in Cyprus. They were surprisingly healthy and well cared for, which is rarely the case for abandoned dogs, so it was clear they had previously had a home. A local rescuer took them in and gave them a safe place to stay, and we promised to help find them new families. Since then, Ivy has grown into a bright, playful, and affectionate little dog ready to start her next chapter.
As the only girl in the litter, Ivy has learned to hold her own with her brothers and keep up with their sometimes boisterous play. She is smart, cheeky, and full of energy, always eager to join in on whatever is happening around her. Ivy is affectionate but also independent, and she thrives when given 1-2-1 attention, training, and the chance to explore her surroundings. She adores toys and playtime, and is especially motivated by treats, which makes learning new things fun and rewarding for her.
Ivy is friendly with people and bonds quickly. She may be a little shy when first meeting someone, but her hesitation never lasts long. She is quick to seek out cuddles and attention once she feels safe, and her fun loving nature makes her a joy to be around.
She gets on wonderfully with other dogs, including her siblings, and particularly looks out for her shyer brother, Wilbur. While she would enjoy having a confident canine companion in her new home, she is also confident enough to live as the only dog with plenty of human company and interaction. If she lived alongside another dog, she’d be quite comfortable with a friend of a similar energy to her that she can play with.
Ivy would thrive in a home that can offer her a sociable and active lifestyle. She would love access to a secure garden where she can explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors, and she would be equally happy enjoying long walks or relaxing at home alongside her family. She is highly trainable, curious, and loves investigating anything and everything, making her a perfect match for an outdoorsy household that can keep up with her energy and intelligence!
Ivy is a bright, fun-loving little dog with so much character. A patient home that can offer her affection and continued training will allow her to grow into a confident, happy companion, and we just know this little beauty is going to make an amazing family friend.
