About Sally

Meet The Nightmare Before Christmas puppies! Sally is the gentle soul of the litter. She and her siblings were rescued from a council pound in Cyprus, where they at risk of being put to sleep due to the high levels of overcrowding. Thankfully, a local shelter was able to offer them safety, and they’re now growing into their own individual characters, and are ready to find their forever homes.

Sally is a calm, sensitive pup with a kind and thoughtful nature. She has the gentle manners of her big brother, Jack, and the playful curiosity of her little sister, Sandy, often watching everything around her with quiet interest before joining in. When new people visit, she’s always keen to peek through the gate, curious to see who’s arrived. When they actually come into her pen, she’s a little apprehensive at first and takes a moment to muster the courage to approach, but she’s getting better by the day. With some reassurance she starts to recognise that she’s safe, and she soon shows her affectionate, sweet side.

Sally is a clever, patient girl who responds really well to encouragement and positive interaction. Like her siblings, Sally loves her food, which makes training enjoyable and rewarding, for both parties! She is curious and eager to please, and with direction and continued training she’ll thrive in a home where her confidence can continue to grow.

Sally is wonderful with other dogs and gains reassurance from their company. She reads social cues well, enjoys playtime and happily follows the lead of more confident dogs. A friendly resident dog would help her settle more quickly, although she could live as the only dog in the right environment with time, routine and consistent support.

Given her gentle disposition, Sally would be happiest in a quieter home away from the bustle of city life, ideally with access to a garden where she can potter about and let off some puppy steam. She would suit adopters who can offer patience and understanding as she adjusts to her new surroundings. She could live with sensible, older children who respect her need for space while she finds her feet.

Sally is a beautiful puppy with a heart of gold, who simply wants to feel safe and loved. She has so much to offer and, with time and kindness, we know she will grow into a devoted and affectionate companion. Someone is going to be very lucky to have her as a part of their family!
