Evie is a Cyprus rescue from Alex’s Farm of Strays. She was spotted in a public pound living in squalor, and when the pound reaches capacity the longest residents are euthanised. Evie was one of the lucky ones. She caught the attention of Alex and thankfully they made space for her at their shelter. Evie was covered in parasites and her now glossy coat was once riddled with fleas and ticks - it’s hard to imagine that looking at how beautiful she is now!

Evie flew to the UK where she went to a foster home before being spotted online by Elisa. She knew instantly that Evie was the dog for her family, and they travelled from London to Durham to meet her. It was love at first sight and there was no way Evie wouldn’t be going home with them!

Despite her miserable start in life, Evie has the most gentle, forgiving nature and it was a no brainer for Elisa when she saw Underdog looking to build a therapy dog team. We are thrilled to have this sweetheart join us! You can follow this gorgeous girl on Instagram @eviekokoni.
