Rory is a young Golden Retriever, who loves nothing more than giving paw and a fuss. His owner is a teacher and was impressed by how calm and loving he was as soon as she got him home on December 31st 2022. She was worried Rory would have a hard time settling in and that the fireworks would be a harsh start to the New Year, impacting Rory’s transition into his new home. However, Rory barely reacted and even slept soundly through the night! 

Ever since, Rory has flourished and taken on new situations in his stride proving to be a happy go lucky and eager to please member of the family. 

Rory loves swimming, cuddles and chasing squirrels. He keeps calms in loud situations and is always happy to lend you a paw - even if you haven’t always asked! He loves being read to and can often be found sound asleep while listening to Captain Underpants and other assorted stories.

We are both excited to represent Underdog and continue to spread smiles to everyone who meets Rory.
