About Snow
Snow was brought to the shelter by her previous owners after the resident dog struggled to accept her. She’s a young, active, friendly and cheeky girl looking for a home that can embrace her enthusiastic nature and involve her in every aspect of their lives.
Snow is only really a puppy at under one year old. She is super intelligent and very keen to learn. She would do so well with some direction and introductory training as she is not only clever, but she really bonds with people who can offer her that kind of focus and attention. She may also really enjoy activities such as agility, as she’s always up for a challenge!
Snow currently shares her kennel with another dog and they’re great together. They share their space without any issues, and their personalities are well suited to one another. Because Snow is young and bouncy, this can sometimes annoy older dogs, so whilst we think she definitely can live alongside a resident dog, it is important they are a good match for one another. She is also very confident though, and would have no issues living as the old dog. She’d love all the attention!
Snow is looking for an active home. As she is a confident dog, we wouldn’t rule out a more urban setting for her, but she does need access to lots of green spaces and long walks. She would also be happiest with direct access to a secure garden to play in. She’d be a great fit for a family who love exploring at the weekends and enjoy a good adventure, as she definitely has the stamina to keep up and would love the opportunity to be a part of the action.
Snow is such a good girl and could live in a home with children. Simply because she’s a young and energetic dog, we would recommend slightly older children just so no one feels overwhelmed. She’s receptive to routine and boundaries, so once she’s found her feet in a new home we expect she will start to feel more relaxed.
We can’t wait for Snow to find the home she’s patiently waiting for and experience being a part of a proper family. She has a slight advantage in that she’s already lived in a home before, so she knows what it’s like to be a companion. She’s a very loyal girl and once she knows she’s home (forever this time!), we know you’ll have a best friend for life in her.
