About Tiana

Tiana is an absolutely gorgeous girl with a such a happy go lucky personality. She arrived in the shelter as a lone puppy, presumed abandoned, and she flew to her foster home in London on the 20th September. She has been settling in amazingly well and her foster family are so impressed with her positive, adaptable nature.

Tiana and her foster family are already working hard on her basic training and she is proving to be a bright and very food motivated girl who enjoys learning. There are no signs of possessiveness around food or toys and she is happy for her foster to take things from her, even when she has found something she probably shouldn't have, such as an old snail shell! Above all, she absolutely loves people and wants to be involved in whatever is happening around her. If there is a cuddle available, she will be there, you don’t have to ask her twice!

Tiana is confident when meeting new people, provided they approach her calmly, and is usually ready to be friends straight away. She has been lovely with visitors and is gentle and happy to be handled. She is also very good at matching the energy of the people around her, whether that means relaxing on the sofa or running around the garden with a ball. She has a cheeky side and is definitely a dog who likes to have fun, especially given her young age.

Tiana loves playing with balls and chew toys, enjoys a good bout of zoomies and is equally happy snoozing on a warm lap afterwards. She loves to be included, so her new family should be prepared for a dog who wants to be part of the action rather than watching from the sidelines. She has only recently started being introduced to walking on a lead, but she’s taken to it really well. She really enjoys getting out and exploring on the lead, and has been friendly with new people and dogs that she has met. She’s also not fazed by roadworks, buses or cars.

Tiana has been wonderful with her foster's younger teenage children, although she is already quite tall when she gets excited and could accidentally be a little overwhelming for smaller children. She would therefore be best suited to a family who can give her appropriate boundaries and help her learn to manage her enthusiasm.

Tiana isn't crate trained yet and would currently much rather sleep on her foster family's pillows! Gentle crate training has already begun and should continue at her own pace, particularly if her new family would like her to sleep in a crate at night. She sleeps from 10.30pm to 7am soundly, although enjoys a lay in at the weekends!

Tiana is looking for an active family who will continue building on the lovely start she has already made. She has plenty of playful energy, but also knows how to settle down and enjoy a cuddle. With her affectionate nature, willingness to learn and cheeky but charming personality, Tiana is going to make a very special companion.
