Alfie was found on the street on his own as a tiny puppy before making his way to Scotland at just six months old. His expressive ears and gentle eyes stood out to Nicola when she saw his photo in an Underdog newsletter and she knew he was the pup for them.

The best thing about Alfie is that he can be lots of different things - a bundle of energy out-sprinting the fastest dog in the park, or happy to sit on the sofa and snuggle - but he shifts his energy depending on what he's doing and who he's with. He takes on new situations in his usual relaxed way. 

He used to be a little scared of noisy unpredictable children, but since living with one in his house and being with Nicola throughout her maternity leave baby friend catch ups, he now loves to hang out with and get cuddles from small people. Many young people like to stop us in the street and ask to pet him and he loves the attention, especially if it also comes with a tasty treat.
